Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Procurement to oversee all procurement and supply chain activities for our real estate and construction projects. This role will be responsible for developing procurement strategies, negotiating contracts, managing vendor relationships, ensuring material availability, and optimizing costs without compromising quality or timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with the company's real estate and construction objectives.
Lead end-to-end procurement operations for materials, equipment, services, and subcontractors.
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and contractors to ensure the best pricing, quality, and service.
Collaborate with project management, engineering, and finance teams to understand project requirements and procurement needs.
Negotiate terms and conditions, frame master agreements, and ensure contract compliance.
Ensure timely delivery of materials and services to meet project schedules.
Monitor and analyze procurement performance metrics, report on KPIs, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or compliance.
Mitigate risks by evaluating supplier reliability and establishing contingency plans.
Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards in procurement activities.
Manage procurement budgets and oversee the preparation of purchase orders and contracts.
Lead, mentor, and develop the procurement team to enhance their skills and performance.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Civil Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
(Masters degree or MBA preferred.)
10-15 years of experience in procurement, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably in real estate or construction sectors.
Strong knowledge of construction materials, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) procurement, and vendor management.
Proven experience in contract negotiation, cost control, and strategic sourcing.
Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
