Procurement Knowledge Sharing

Responsibilities :

Identify and develop supply sources for as per specification at competitive price. Procuring Raw Material and intermediates for pesticides manufacturing.
Coordinating with QC and R & D team in development of new products.
Ensure timely supply of RM/PM for responsible plants.
Ensure compliance of EHS while sourcing of Raw Materials. Develop strategy of cost reduction in RM procurement and ensure cost saving in procurement process.
Coordinate with internal customers, stores and finance for smooth Source to Pay process.
Ensure compliance of purchasing procedures and guide lines in area of responsibility.
Ensure cost saving in procurement process and timely review with line manager.
Ensure tracking & monitoring of monthly purchasing matrix.

6. Hands on experience on saving trackers.
7. Excellent in negotiation.
8. Good Exposure of buying from China.
9. Knowledge and experience on Tally system/ SAP MM Module

Educational & Training Requirements:
1. Chemical Engineering graduate / Bachelor of science / Master of Science with 7-10 years of purchasing experience or equivalent in Agrochemical & Chemical Industry.
2. Graduate in Materials Management..

UG: B.Tech/B.E. - Any Specialization, Chemical, B.Sc - Any Specialization

PG:MS/M.Sc(Science) - Any Specialization, Agriculture, Chemical Engineering & Materials Science, Chemistry
