BOTTLE YOUR BREW - PAGE 2

It helps A LOT to set up for bottling with plenty of room and table space, with all your tools and empty bottles within easy reach!

Oh and having help is the ONLY way to go! This would take FOREVER if you tried it by yourself! Use the racking cane to fill the bottles. It has a check valve that opens when you push it against the bottom of the bottle, but closes the instant you lift up. With one man bottling and one man capping, this dosen't take long at all! Thanks for your help POPS!

And here it is, the fruits of your labors. This batch yielded 55 bottles! It'll be a tough job drinking it, but hey somebody's got to do it!

Now for the toughest part yet....WAITING!!! They say it'll be ready in a week or two, but it tastes much better if you let it sit at least 4 weeks. I'll leave it upstairs at room temperature out of direct sunlight for two weeks to allow the yeast to completely carbonate it. Then store it in a dark corner of the basement until I'm in the mood for a cold one, which, now that I think about it, is RIGHT NOW! Too bad it's not ready yet...

As soon as this batch is finished, I'll post a pic and review of the finished batch.
